The Journal of Chemical Education is the journal of the Division of Chemical Education, Inc. of the American Chemical Society. Published continuously since 1924, JCE is the world's premier chemical education journal. The mission of JCE is to help chemistry teachers stay current with research advances as well as share new ideas in teaching methodologies and course organization.

Availability and Access

We expect to include the Journal as a collection in the ChemEd DL. All articles published by the Journal, from its first issue of January 1924 to present, will be made available by JCE digitally as Portable Document Format, PDF files. All articles will be catalogued in the ChemEd DL. Access to Journal articles is restricted to JCE subscribers. However, many university, college, and high school libraries provide access to their users through institutional subscriptions to JCE. So, for many, if not most, of the users of ChemEd DL, access to Journal articles is provided through their institution's subscription.
