Using the WebScripts REST-based interface to ChemEd Content, we are developing tools that allow us to integrate ChemEd Content into places where people are on the Internet. Portals such as Google and Yahoo and social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace are where many people start using the Internet or spend a significant part of their time. By getting ChemEd DL into such sites, we are putting ChemEd DL into the path of users as opposed to expecting users to find and come visit us through more conventional means.

One of the ways to incorporate content into Google is Google Gadgets. Google Gadgets can be placed on any page on the Web, and especially added to iGoogle, Google's portal service. We have developed several Google Gadgets for ChemEd Content.

To incorporate ChemEd Content into Facebook, we have developed Facebook applications. One such application displays a random video from the ChemEd DL What's This? collection.
