ChemEd DL will provide services to its constituent communities to enable them to work collaboratively in developing ChemEd DL. Such services will include those listed below.
Search and Discovery
Given that >95% of users of current search services at WWW sites never use advanced search, even if available, ChemEd DL needs to focus on providing a search and discovery service that is very simple to use and yet provides the information or content the user desires. One way of accomplishing this goal is to focus on how the results of a search are returned to the user. Easy to use search results filters are one way to help searchers to achieve their goal.
